The Local Organizing Committee (COL26) has prepared the following Frequently Asked Questions to assist teams with accommodation arrangements for WAC26.
1️⃣ What are the official stay dates?
The official accommodation package covers:
📅 Check-in: September 22, 2026
📅 Check-out: September 27, 2026
🛏️ Total stay: 6 nights
Additional nights may be requested, subject to availability.
2️⃣ What hotel categories are available?
Teams may choose between:
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Hotels
⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4-Star Hotels
⭐⭐⭐ 3-Star Hotels
All hotels are officially selected and approved by COL26.
3️⃣ What room types are available?
The following room options are available in each hotel category:
Single Room (1 person)
Double Room (2 persons)
Triple Room (3 persons)
Quadruple Room (4 persons)
Room configurations are subject to hotel availability.
4️⃣ Is breakfast included?
Yes.
All official hotel packages include daily American-style breakfast for all registered guests.
5️⃣ Are taxes included in the rates?
Information regarding taxes and service charges will be specified in the official price list once published.
6️⃣ How do teams make a reservation?
Reservations must be made through the official WAC26 Accommodation Office.
The booking procedure will include:
Completion of a Team Accommodation Form
Rooming list submission
Deposit payment confirmation
Detailed instructions will be published soon.
7️⃣ Is a deposit required?
Yes.
A deposit will be required to confirm the reservation. The percentage and payment deadlines will be specified in the official booking guidelines.
8️⃣ What is the cancellation policy?
The cancellation policy (deadlines, penalties, refunds) will be clearly indicated in the accommodation contract provided to each team.
9️⃣ Can teams request specific hotels?
Yes.
Teams may indicate their preferred hotel category. Assignments will be confirmed based on availability and order of booking confirmation.
🔟 Is transportation included?
Hotel packages do not automatically include transportation unless specifically stated.
Information regarding official transportation services will be provided separately.
